Welcome to Björkbackens camping ground!
On our site you can stay with tent, caravan och mobile home. We have plots for different needs: with or without electricity, a shady or more open environment. We have plots for big caravans and plots for small tents.
We also have lots of activities for adults and children, a vacation paradise with Astrid Lindgrens Värld near by.
Camping areas
Our camping ground has the advantage of being leafy and near the nature, but at the same time with walking distance to Vimmerby city. Our camping ground is divided in several different areas:
Farmors utsikt is an area without electicity for tents with big plots on a small hill above the caravan areas.You will find lots of space for both tent and car on each plot. Niclas runda provides electricity and this area is best suited for caravans and mobile homes. Mormors dunge provides plots with electricity for caravans and mobile homes in a more leafy environment.
Gärdet and Vinäs are two large fields with plots for tents, caravans and mobile homes. There is no electricity on most of these plots but some of the plots on Gärdet are provided with electricity.
You can always park your car on your plot. You can borrow extension cords and EU cables in our front desk.
Amenties building
We have a high standard amenties building on site with tile walls and clinker floor or vinyl mat. It is isolated with floor heating. You will find a family shower (two showers + washing basin in a lockable room) and eight separate showers. There is a kitchen and restrooms along with a baby changing room.
The amenties building also has a laundry room with washing machines and tumblers (30 SEK).
Cards for showering and laundry are bought in the front desk of the hotel. The card is loaded with money and when you check out we will see how much there is left on the card, you only pay for what you used. The showers cost 5 SEK for three minutes.
