On our site you can stay with tent, caravan or mobile home. We have lots of activities for both adults and children, a vacation paradise with Astrid Lindgren's World near by!
We have plots for different needs,
With or without electricity, a shady or more open environment. We have plots for big caravans and plots for small tents. Our campsite has the advantage of being lush and close to nature, but at the same time within walking distance to Vimmerby city. That way, we offer both a cozy environment and proximity to shopping and city life.
Our camping ground is divided in several different areas:
Niclas runda provides electricity and this area is best suited for caravans and mobile homes.
Mormors dunge provides plots with electricity for caravans and mobile homes in a more lush environment.
Gärdet and Vinäs are two large fields with plots for tents, caravans and mobile homes. There is no electricity on most of these plots but some of the plots on Gärdet are provided with electricity.

All our guests check in and out at the hotel reception,
Which always is on hand to answer any questions that arise.
For us, it is important that the stay at Björkbacken is smooth, comfortable and memorable.
Therefore, during summertime we have a large activity area for both our young and older guests. You can play in our large playground, or buy entry to the pool area or mini golf! We have food options at the facility with everything from cafés to pizzerias and a la carte restaurants. You also get access to the Karaktärshotellet's public areas with a lobby bar, pavilions and the playroom. We also offer free fast Wi-Fi in parts of the campsite and of course inside the hotel.
For those who want a more luxurious feel to their stay, there is the option to buy our hotel breakfast while booking. All camping guests may park their car at their campsite. Extension cords and EU cables are available to borrow for a deposit fee at the front desk.
