Time Limit
Information regarding customers who have not been active towards our company for a period of 364 days will be sorted out of the register.
Transmission of data
The company receives information from booking pages that may be located in other countries. Björkbacken does not serve any outsider any part of our register, neither freely nor against payment.
Saftey measures
Everyone who manages the company's records signs a confidentiality document. Data is backed up, protected by antivirus software and personal passwords. The company's internal network and the wireless guest network are completely separate.
General information
Björkbacken does not store information on religious belonging, sexual orientation, customer health or political opinions. However, the customer's various wishes needed to deliver our product can be saved such as, late check-out, need for allergy-adapted food, if dogs are included in the company etc. Personal data classified as "sensitive" will not be saved.

Membership in Björkbacken's friends
Björkbacken's friends is the name of our membership program and is valid from 2018-02-01. These conditions apply to members of Björkbacken's friends, a membership program issued by Björkbackens Turism AV (corporate registration number 556416 - 3847) hereinafter referred to as Björkbacken's friends. Membership is personal, free of charge and valid for taking part in all offers in Björkbacken's friends program. To become a member of Björkbacken's friends you must have reached the age of 18 and accepted Björkbacken's friends membership terms. You agree to these membership terms by agreeing to the membership in Björkbacken's friends. In order to administer your membership we need your e-mail address, cell phone number and social security number. By agreeing to these terms, you certify that the information you provide about yourself is accurate. Application for membership on the website www.bjorkbacken.se or at our hotel's front desk.

Changes in membership conditions
Björkbacken's friends reserve the ritght to make changes to the terms of membership. Changes will take affect 30 days after you as a member have been informed of the changes via email. The current conditions are available on www.bjorkbacken.se.
Membership validity, termination and otherwise
Your membership in Björkbacken's friends is valid until cancellation. You can cancel your membership at any time by contacting info@bjorkbacken.se. Björkbacken, as well as the member, reserves the right to terminate the membership of Björkbacken's friends at any time. As a member of Björkbacken's friends you agree to recieve inspiration and information about services and offers from Björkbacken. In essence, membership gives you a 5% discount on the cheapest price online. If you are a company you have 25% discount from September to April. When you make a reservation by phone +46 492 79890 or by email info@bjorkbacken.se you tell your membership number and the discount is directly deducted from the cost for your room. If you are a corporate custumer, tell your company name and the discount will be deducted from the cost of your room. There are also other membership benefits, different from time to time. It can be special membership discounts, invitations to events or discounted tickets. Everything is communicated via your email and is triggered through your membership number.
Force Majeure
Events beyond our control. Björkbackens Turism AB is not responsible for any damage caused by law order, government action, war event, strike, blockade, boycott or other similar circumstances.

We collect the information about you provided by booking sites such as booking.com and hotels.com and the like. It can also be personal data from any central source, such as a conference booking where the participants name is to be registered.

How long do we store your personal data?
When you submit your personal data to Björkbacken, you consent to Björkbacken to register and store purchases and to process the specified information for the above mentioned purposes. We will never process your personal data for longer than is prmitted by applicable law, regulation, practice or governmental decisions. For example, data can be stored longer if required byt he Consumer Purchasing Act or the Accounting Act. The personal data is stored and processed in Björkbacken's IT system. As a member of Björkbacken's friends, your personal information is stored as long as you are a member of Björkbacken's friends. However, information about your purchases is only stored for 24 months after the last purchase. You can contact us at any time and terminate your membership and request that we delete your personal information.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data and to receive information, among other things, about what personal data is stored with us, the purposes of processing this personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data has or is to be disclosed the predicted period of the criteria to determine during which period personal data will be stored. If you have given consent to Björkbacken regarding Björkbacken's personal data processing, you can revoke such consent at any time by contacting our reception. Björkbacken however have the right to continue processing your personal data to the extent necessary to fulfill our obligations to you as a contracting party. If you believe that your personal data has been processed in violation of applicable law legislation you are entitled to submit a complaint to the Data Inspectorate.
