The houses in Bullerbyn look exactly the same as back in 1986 when Lasse Hallström directed the movies about the children that lived in Bullerbyn. Nowadays children get to jump in the hay in the barn, you'll find swings for both adults and children, and also a hollow tree to hide in. Here you can see both sheep, cows, rabbits and chickens. The first piece of candy was made here 1929, and still the confectionery is handmade from secret and unique recipes. Meet moose, deer and sheep in their natural habitat. With a guided safari tour you get to come close to the animals from wagons with roof and partly open sides so you can reach the moose and feed them. Rainy weather is not at all problem. Sevedeleden is a 50 kilometer long circular hiking trail, and a good place to start is Mariannelund. Sevedeleden passes, among lots of other landmarks, a 1000 years old oak which is probably the oldest tree in Sweden. Djursdalarundan, 7 kilometer long and a good place to start this hike is Ungstorp in Djursdala. This trail offer stops to admire both natural phenomena and exciting cultural history.
